The White Cloud Mountain Minnow is believed to have been extinct in its natural habitat for many years now but is widely bred in aquariums across the world. This fish is often used to help cycle a new tank because it is so forgiving when it comes to water conditions and water temperature.
The White Mountain Cloud Minnow needs to be fed little and often and need to be kept in numbers of 6 or more. They prefer a temperature between 18-26 degrees C and a PH between 6-8.
The White Cloud Mountain Minnow does very well in coldwater aquariums and it is often stated that they do better in tanks colder than most other tropical fish prefer.
