The Upside-down Catfish as the name suggests swims upside down.
Some people believe that the upside-don catfish swims upside down because it grazes on algae found on the underside of logs and swimming upside down makes the task of feeding easier.
The upside-down catfish does better in groups of at least 3 and will generally hide during the day and come out at night. It will benefit from a water temperature between 72-82 degrees Fahrenheit and soft to hard water. It prefers algae pellets but will eat flake and frozen foods.
