-You will need a well established aquarium that has been running for at least 6 months. Fish will not breed in a new tank and will not breed if conditions are not perfect. It is better to just have angelfish in the tank otherwise other fish may eat the juveniles before they have time to grow.
-Make sure you have a good filter for your aquarium because it will need to deal with a lot of waste when the juveniles are born and be able to deal with the frequent feedings.
-Provide a healthy diet for your fully grown angelfish offering them a variety of foods. Vitamin supplements can be added to boost the health and immune system of the fish.
-If you are lacking a female or male in your tank then you will need to buy one from your local fish store.
-Test the water chemistry on a daily basis to make sure the water conditions are perfect.

-If your angelfish are not breeding you can try and give them more daylight hours, or raise the temperature very slightly. Record your results down so that you remember what the optimum conditions are for your fish when they start to breed.
You will either need to put a sponge where the water goes into the filter to stop the juveniles from being sucked into the filter itself or use a sponge filter. These filters are often used when breeding fish and seahorses because it prevents the juveniles from being sucked into external canister filters.
