Blood Shrimp
The blood shrimp (lysmata debelius) originates from the indo pacific and is commonly referred to as the fire shrimp or the scarlet cleaner shrip.
This shrimp is best kept in pairs ad will help to keep the tank clean by eating any food the fish may have left. They have a striking red colouration to them which makes them a very popular choice. The blood shrimp is not very good at clearing algae out of the aquarium but will accept a variety of meaty foods.
